WOW! Charlaine Harris just spilled the working title for the final book in the Southern Vampire Mysteries at a convention today. The book 13 title is "Dead Ever After" unless the publisher changes it in the next year. I know the title alone will have all of us buzzing about what it could mean and that we'll want to talk about it already. Speculate away and have fun!

So, Book 11, "Dead Reckoning" - due date is May 3rd, not too far away! How did y'all like the last book? Any new SookieBookies out there that want to post about the books? Have any questions about them? Are we SB's getting tired of the changes from the books to the show? Or are we past that now? I know I'm looking forward to a nice sunny day, a glass of sweet tea, and sitting under a tree reading the new book...then a nice evening, curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine & my hubby, watching the 1st episode of Season 4....nice to have two things to look forward too, isn't it?

Moderator, I hope this thread isn't already started but I'm pretty sure its not (only one for TV quotes). But I was just starting to re-read the series again and I'm on 'Living Dead in Dallas' and I got to a particularly funny line and thought I'd share.
From LDID Chapter 2: "But I knew Bill's huge thrill was when he drank from me. He might have a pretty steady diet of Lifeflow, (The most popular marketing name for the synthetic blood) but nipping my neck was incomparably better.He could drink some bottle A positive synthetic blood in a bar full of people, but if he planned on a mouth full of Sooke Stackhouse, we better golly be in private!" I probably have hundreds more I love but thought I'd start there :)

OK, I can't wait anymore! I'm so excited to speculate on Book 12 too! So, here we are! Book 12! WOW! Dead Reckoning/Book 11 hit the book stores, etc.& most of us have read it at least twice! So many burning questions!! I know IATM & Pbt have taken LOTS of notes! Now's the time to get down to serious speculation for Bk.12, due Spring 2012 ~ a year to chat about what CH plans next for our favorite Louisiana vamps, et al!! Let the speculation begin!! Don't know where to start so I'll leave it up to you expert Trubies! Have a GREAT time!
