I've just spent 2 months going through all of threads on the Forum & deleted at least 90% of them. I've wanted to send a PM to each person whose thread was deleted but with so many, it wasn't possible. There were so many duplicates, and out-of-date threads that to find something was not easy.
I know everyone's excited about different things on the show, and in the Fanfiction section. It's easy to get on the Forum & just start a new thread rather than doing a search for the right thread to start your new post. So if your thread was deleted, it was for one of the following reasons:
* The Show - There are already multiple threads on that subject. We have MANY threads on Bill, Eric, Sam, Sookie, FF stories, and assorted opinions about the show. New ones will be deleted.
* There was a Spoiler in the title or body NOT properly marked. There are enough Spoiler threads for now.
* The title was non-descript ("OMG" tells nothing about the content of the thread) or too much punctuation. That makes it unclear for (One or two ?? or !! max, please)!
* It was outside the official thread for each episode. There will be ONE thread per episode posted just before the Preview of the show airs. Any additional threads for the the episode will be deleted, so please make sure you are in the right thread.
*Sometimes threads get moved to the appropriate place in the wiki. In those cases, if you click on "DISCUSSION FORUM" in the navigation bar above, you can see all the threads no matter where they are.
If you have a truly original topic, that's the time to start a new thread. Otherwise, there are lively, fun conversations already happening that we'd love for you to join! Please make sure to consult a moderator BEFORE starting a new thread!
