True Blood left us with quite a few unanswered questions last season.
- Who is the black wolf growling at Sam?
- Will Sam call Maxine, Mama?
- Will Hoyt ever forgive Jason?
- Will Jason be alright with Jessica treating him like he's been treating women himself for years?
- Who turned Steve Newlin and why did he wait so long to visit Jason?
- Will Jessica feel Jason's fear and come racing to the rescue?
- The way that Steve eye-f'd naked Jason and let out a whew, will he make Jason his new butt boy?
- What's going on with the 'necks from Hot Shot? Did Ghost Daddy's seed take root?
- What has Russell been up to since he escaped and who helped him escape?
- Where are Russell's wolves? Did his wolves sniff him out and rescue him from the cement? Perhaps with the aid of one of Russell's other progeny?
- What will Eric and Bill do about Russell?
- Will Alcide warn Eric, Bill and Sookie about Russell in time?
- Will Eric forgive Sookie for not choosing him?
- Will Eric return Sookie's house to her?
- Will Eric forgive Pam?
- How will "The Authority" respond to the mess left by Nan, Eric and Bill's actions?
- Who will replace Nan as the go-between for the AVL and The Authority?
- Will there be a war between the vampire factions?
- Are Bill and Eric going to go on the run?
- What will an angry and distraught Pam do to Sookie?
- Will Pam forgive Eric?
- Is Tara really dead? Could she be turned to be saved?
- Can Lafayette heal Tara with his brujo magic? Or will Tara come back as a spirit or a zombie?
| - Will there be repercussions for Alcide with Marcus' pack?
- What kind of influence will Terry's former commander have on him?
- What did Terry do in the service that haunted him so?
- Will Sookie move on to Alcide now that she has decided to cut Eric and Bill loose?
- Will Sookie turn to Alcide in her grief?
- Can Sookie really move on from Eric and Bill?
- Is Lafayette now a brujo and will he be able to control his magic or will it control him?
- Anyone else wonder why and how Sookie became a witch? What about Tara? Tara was just a tag along at the beginning of the season--does she have real power like Maryann indicated in season 2?
- Will Andy and Holly hook up?
- Will Maurella reappear with a hybrid child sired by Andy and ask him to raise the child?
- Are some of the Fae mating with humans to breed the ugly out of their inbred race?
- Will Mab's agenda regarding hybrids being a danger to them cause further problems for Sookie, considering there is still travel between the two realms?
- Where did Gran get the power to pull Marnie out of Lafayette?
- What are the other two Fae, who flashed in just before Maurella, doing in our realm and who are they?
- Will Lisa find new role models or will she end up like her Halloween costume?
- Will Coby continue his love of mayonnaise?
- Is Mikey really okay or will he continue to decapitate dolls?
- Will Arlene heed Rene's warning?
- Are there more spirits going to appear on the season 5 premiere? Tommy? Dawn? Others?

| Date: 4/30/12 True Blood Spoiler: Bill, Eric and Nora
TV Guide's William Keck has kept his word to True Blood fans today and released a new image of Eric and Bill from Season 5. And not only that, but the image also includes Eric's vampire sibling Nora.
TV Guide also has a brief interview with the lucky actress, Lucy Griffiths, about her new role in the show. When True Bloodpremieres June 10, we'll get a taste of Eric Northman's bloodsucking, Godric-made vampire sister, Nora (Lucy Griffiths). "She's an irreverent British lady who we think was turned during Elizabethan or Victorian times," Lucy reveals. "It's been years since she's seen Eric, and she is very excited. She looks up to him, but they've had a fiery love/hate relationship in the way that brothers and sisters do." Nora is also part of the Vampire Authority ruling council, which will play a big part in the new season. In this exclusive photo from the premiere, Nora, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard)and Bill (Stephen Moyer)are on the attack. "It occurs just after I've met them, and it's a reaction to being taken by surprise by some threatening characters," teases the beautiful Brit, best known for playing Marian in the 2006-09 Robin Hood series. Eight episodes into filming, there's no great Bon Temps romance for Nora, but Lucy has her eye on another new series regular: Italian actress Valentina Cervi, who plays ancient vampire seductress Salome: "They're very close." It may be a brief interview but Lucy does provide us with some tasty little snippets to wet ourappetites. A love / hate relationship with her big brother sounds juicy, and hopefully means lots of opportunity for some great viking moments to come.
Some worried Eric and Sookie fans will be pleased to note that Nora is not having any great romance, and it's also interesting to note that she and Salome are very close (Will Salome also be an Authority member perhaps?). We areseriouslystarting to look forward to seeing these two new female vamps and the impact they might have in the upcoming season.

| Date: 4/10/2012 True Blood Spoiler: Carolyn Hennesy Interview, Vampire Authority Member “Rosalyn Harris”
I must say that I really enjoyed this interview mostly because it was done by a fan of the show so there was a little gushing. Here are a couple of excerpts.--glam
Q: You als o have Chris Meloni (from Law & Order: SVU) coming in. Yes, Chris Meloni and you have to give a tremendous amount of credit to the writers. The writing on that show is spectacular. The material that they give us to work with is fantastic, no slouch there.
Q: I can’t wait to see Chris. Yes, I’ll just give you one word and that’s sexy.
Q: What can you tell me about season 5 and of course, Rosalyn Harris? She’s a vampire, very old, from Texas but Texas, in the timeline, is not very old. Rosalyn has come from somewhere else but we are just not quite sure where but she has made Texas her home for the past 100 to 200 years. She’s one of those game gals that helped to settle the Old West. She’s very comfortable branding a calf. She knows that pearls can go with anything, so she is always a lady. She can brand a calf in the morning and go to the opera at night. She’s a man’s woman. She’s what we would call a great broad. She’s very funny and very folksy, but if you cross her she will drain you on the spot. As they say with regards to Texas hair, big is just a place to start. Rosalyn has hair high enough to interfere with air traffic control.
Q: I am looking forward to seeing that. She’s a lot of fun. I’m not wearing a wig so somehow they were able to get my short bob up into the heavens.
Q: How did she become an Authority Council Member? She was made an Authority Council Member by the Guardian, Chris Meloni’s character (Roman). This happened centuries ago so what their relationship was like, we don’t know yet. If the Authority has been around 2000 years then she has been a member for 1900 years. As long as the Authority has been around she’s pretty much been a part of it.
Q: What characters are we going to be seeing her with the most? All of my other Authority members as it stands now like Christopher Heyerdahl (as Dieter Braun), Peter Mensah (as Kibwe), and Chris Meloni. There are some huge, huge political battles being fought in the vampire world this season. There are a lot of heavy duty and very important council meetings.
Q: I hope you filmed some scenes with Alexander Skarsgård because he is my favorite. Well, I have worked--and I can tell you that--I have worked with Alexander and Stephen and I count myself as pretty much the luckiest gal on the face of this Earth because… (expressed with a sultry voice) yes, I have worked with them (laughing).
Comment by interviewer: (Laughing) Sookie is an idiot for not choosing Eric.
Q: I would love to get your take on your character’s makeup, fashion, mannerisms, and those little details that really bring her together for you. Rosalyn is what you would call a great broad and at all times a lady. Tease the hair until it reaches God, slap a set of pearls on and you are good to go because everything else will fall into line. She is always impeccably dressed. If you cross her she will stake you, she will snap your neck as soon as look at you. Do not cross Rosalyn Harris. For me, Rosalyn’s key trait is her wonderful sense of humor. I feel that she wants to mainstream because she understands the importance of mainstreaming but she never loses that wonderful sense of humor that has enabled her to survive all these centuries.

True Blood Spoiler: New 'Strong and Cocky' Vamp Introduced in Season 5
First of all, in case you haven't heard, True Blood's new season starts on June 10, so mark it on your Alexander Skarsgård-themed calendars. As for what to expect, we've met all different kinds of vampires in four seasons of True Blood, but in the new season T.B. will introduce us to a type of vamp we've never met before. We can't reveal more than that, but we can tell you that this character is described as strong and cocky, and they'll be around for more than one episode.
Could this be the unknown character that Chris Meloni will portray? I think they just enjoy making us nuts before the season premiere.

True Blood Spoiler: Janina Gavankar Teases the "Big Bad" of True Blood Season 5 - Exclusive!
Wetpaint Entertainment spoke to star Janina Gavankar(Luna) at the NewNowNext Awards on April 5, she couldn't say much, but did tease a bit of what we can expect from Season 5!
Q: We are HUGE True Blood fans; please give us something to go on until it returns! Well we have an air date, June 10, that’s when we come back. We are on episode 8 right now.
Q. What’s happening? Ha, you know I can’t tell you anything! Things are really, really complicated for Sam and I right now and my daughter. As for the vampires, this is the year of a history lesson. You’re going to learn a lot about the vampires this year.
Q. Each new season they bring in a new mythical creature, last season it was a witch, what is it this season? I don’t think they’re really doing that this year. I really think that we’re going back to teach people about where it all came from. Kind of. That’s not true — there is something, there is a big bad something this year! There’s a big, bad something this year!
Q. Will you and Sam stay together? I hope they stay together, I love loving Sam. I love it! I don’t think anybody understands you like another shifter so you know finding somebody who understands what you’ve been through is very hard.

True Blood Spoiler: Howdy? Rosalyn Harris Your Texan Vampire Authority on True Blood's Season 5
After getting the role, and having never seen True Blood, Carolyn Hennesy sat down and watched all 48 episodes in a mere 10 days, and had a lot to say about her character, Rosalyn Harris. …this is a long interview. I usually cut out a lot but there’s a lot of good info on what to expect on Vampire Authority Rosalyn Harris in Season 5 of True Blood.
Q. You play a new character this season, Rosalyn Harris, who is part of the Vampire Authority. Tell me about her. It’s funny because in the script, she is always referred to as “Rosalyn Harris.” I feel like it’s “Miss Barbara Stanwick” or something. The two names are one name.
Q. Is that a show of respect? Are you higher up in the Vampire Authority? I am not. The Authority was started by one particular member. I am not the oldest member of the authority but I was there shortly after it started. Very shortly. There are, chronologically, older members of the Authority. But it’s [all relative]. It’s like if the Authority is 2,000 years old, Rosalyn has maybe been on for 1,950 years. In the grand scheme of things all the Authority members - it used to be eight with Nan Flanagan, but she’s gone so it is seven - are the most powerful vampires on the planet.
Q. The description I have here says that Rosalyn has “hair high enough to interfere with air traffic.” Well, where Rosalyn comes from is still something of a mystery. I’ve kind of solved it myself, with the character background I have created. Rosalyn is from Texas - for the last 500 years or so. Where she comes from before that is Prague, or someplace overseas. But she loves Texas. She is one of those women who helped tame the Wild West. She loves everything about Texas, that it’s a man’s world and she is a hell of a woman in it. In Texas, as they say with regard to everything, but especially to hair, “big is just the place to start.” So Rosalyn embraces everything Lone Star. When you think of Rosalyn, you need to think of Anne Richards and Mae West and Joan Crawford in Johnny Guitar. She is a broad and a half. She’s a great dame. Pearls go with everything, and your hair can never be too high. And she will kill you on the spot!
Q. How much of Rosalyn’s background did you get to create for yourself? I got three things: that she is from Texas; that she has hair high enough to interfere with air traffic; and she has a “home-spun wisdom.” So she’ll come up with the quip that relates to gelding a horse, or say, “Well, when I was on the ranch….” But her instincts are almost always right. Once she makes up her mind, and she knows she is right - and it takes a lot to change Rosalyn’s mind. But it can be done.
Q. Does Rosalyn have any romantic entanglements this season? Sex and blood are really the two things that True Blood is all about. Well, we are in the middle of this very dire [Vampire Authority] situation. So far, there have been no romantic entanglements for Rosalyn. I will say that she has a secret crush, but I think that is all I can say. She has a secret crush that I don’t even think the writers know about! [Laughs.]
Q. Well, like you said, when you are working with Alex and Stephen, how can you not? Right! But yeah, she has a secret crush, which I think is highly unusual for a vampire. Vampires can act on anything, but Rosalyn is playing this one close to the vest.
Q. Is Rosalyn for assimilation? Very much so. She understands the wisdom of it. In the time that Rosalyn has been alive, we have put a man on the moon; we have conquered oceans; we have this synthetic blood. What else can [humans] do that can be of benefit to vampire-kind? That is what really interests Rosalyn, and the only way vampires can reap the benefits of these discoveries is if they act in concert with human beings.
Q. Would you consider Rosalyn a “good guy” or a “bad guy?” A good guy. A very good guy. Of course, if you cross her, she will snap your neck. As far as I am concerned, Rosalyn loves humans. She loves them for what they may be able to do for vampires.
Q. I know you can’t say much about the season as a whole, but is there a general direction this season is going in? Well, with only my scenes, it would be that there is a real push for mainstreaming. A real push. And then what ultimately results from that tremendous push. That’s really all I can say.
Q. It sounds almost like this season is getting a little more political. Very much so. That is a great way to put it. Does it reflect on [the country’s] own political situation? Possibly. It is interesting that we have the Presidential election coming up in November, and the show is premiering in June and running for three months - right into the heart of election season.
Q. True Blood has always been socially aware. Yes. Issues of immigration, issues of acceptance, issues of… not quite racism, but kind of, with vampires-versus-humans and where do you stand - and why do you stand wherever that is? Metaphors galore!
Q. Are you done shooting for the season? No. We’re only half-way. We started in late December / January. How many episodes are you in? So far I am in seven.

Relative newcomer Giles Matthey is set to recur on True Blood‘s upcoming season in the role of Claude, a very attractive and mysterious young man, HBO confirms to us. Described as “omni-sexual,” Claude catches the attention and curiosity of Jessica and will first appear in episode three of the new season. But is it a romantic interest that Jessica takes in Claude? That remains to be seen. Oh, and something tells us Claude is going to have the same allergy to shirts that most of True Blood‘s men seem to have. We don’t hate it! True Blood spoiler: Twilight's Christopher Heyerdahl to Vamp Up True Blood Role
Christopher Heyerdahl shouldn't work on his tan anytime soon. The veteran actor who played ancient Volturi vampire Marcus in the Twilight movies will continue to fang it up on HBO's True Blood, Deadline reports. He'll play Dieter Braun, one of the five council members of the Vampire Authority, the highest-ranking governing authority over all vampires. Braun appears relatively mild-mannered, but revels in innovative torture techniques while interrogating prisoners.
SVU alum Chris Meloni joins the cast of True Blood It was thought that Law & Order: SVU's Christopher Meloni would be playing Dieter since he was previously cast as "an ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill [Stephen Moyer] and Eric [Alexander Skarsgard] in his hands," but it seems that his role is still under wraps.
It'll be interesting to keep an eye out for casting of the other council members including Nora, African vampire Kibwe, big-haired Texan vamp Rosalyn Harris and 9-year-old cigarette-smoking Alexander. Heyerdahl is comfortable play otherworldly roles. Besides his vampire cred, he's also known as Bigfoot on Sanctuary and the demon Alastair on Supernatural. On the human side, he plays The Swede on AMC's Hell on Wheels.
